Gene Bruskin ’68 has written PPro as follows:
Gene Bruskin ’68 has spent his life in the labor movement fighting for poor and working people and against injustice. He has served as President of the Boston School Bus Drivers Union (of the USWA); National Organizer for the National Postal Mail Handles Union (div. of LIUNA), the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, and the American Federation of Teachers; and Founder of U.S. Labor Against the War.
Now, in a period of redeployment he has written a play with wonderful music and serious political message entitled Pray for the Dead-A Musical Tale of Morgues, Moguls and Mutiny. A GoFundMe page has been established and efforts are underway to try to raise money for the play. Please go to this GoFundMe page to watch the video discussing the play and its need for some additional funding.
I hope that you will consider contributing and that you will pass this information along to friends who might also be interested in the project and in contributing.
