The extraordinarily insightful and thought-provoking speech by ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero ’87 at Friend Center Auditorium on Wednesday 8 April was reported on by the Prince here. Romero’s introduction by PPro President Jason Gold ’81 mentioned PPro’s role in making this event happen, as did the Prince article. Professor Edward Telles of the Sociology Department moderated a lengthy and informative question and answer session following Romero’s talk.
In the afternoon before Romero’s speech, there was a robust discussion at Terrace Club with about 25 students from various campus groups. Special thanks go to Avery Stewart ’16, President of Princeton College Democrats, for her substantial efforts in helping to arrange and promote this event on campus.
